  • Now log in using your mobile number and password. (Register if you are not registered on this portal.)
  • Enter the vehicle number and the captcha code to search.
  • Click Search Vehicle to know your vehicle details.

  • Download and install the mParivahan app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
  • Sign in using your mobile number, and password. If you haven’t yet registered, you can do that on the app.

It is obligatory to register a vehicle with an RTO according to the Act of Motor Vehicles in 1988. Here is the process of registration of a vehicle step by step:

Temporary Registration

  • Temporary registration is provided by the dealer of the vehicle at the time the vehicle is bought.
  • It is valid for the range of 7 to 30 days. During this time period, the registration needs to be changed to permanent registration.

Permanent Registration

For registering a vehicle permanently, the Rto vehicle owner details has to execute the following actions:

  • Visit the local RTO office with the required documents
  • Complete and Submit Form 20 “Application for Vehicle Registration” with the following attachments:
